This is a very special bracelet, made for my life-long friend. She was not impressed when she found out from a book she read that the tree associated with her month of birth was an Elderberry Tree - not a pretty tree. However, she then went on to make a fabulous quilted wall hanging based on elements of the tree and I was inspired to make her this bracelet of garnets and a mixture of berry coloured glass beads. The clasp and bead cones are Tibetan silver and I added a few little white flowers to represent the Elder flower and a single 'olivine' coloured leaf as the same book said that Dorothy's colour was olivine. She loves it. Similar would cost £10.50P.S. her husband took this great photograph for me.
